Bike Warrior Challenge 2015

September 23, 2015

3:30 to 6:00 PM

Roosevelt Elementary

Are you ready for the Bike Warrior Challenge 2015?

This year's BWC will host WheelKid's 2-hour bike skills and safety training geared to build skill and confidence in all levels of bikers. There will be three skill levels designed to meet the skill level of all participants – 1) Very Beginner for those trying to get off training wheel; 2) Beginning Skills for those already riding but who need to improve riding skills and increase traffic safety knowledge; and 3) Intermediate for those who need a little more challenge. All levels will include traffic safety instruction and result in a more skilled rider.

The skills class is for BSD students only, but there are other activities for the entire family:

  • Bay Area Bike Mobil - CANCELED: we had hoped to bring you free bike tune-ups but this service provider has canceled. We hope to reschedule this service for later in the year.

  • Helmet Giveaway - free helmets and fittings for BSD students, while supplies last

  • Bike Blended Healthy Snacks and Drinks - our new bike blender will be in full motion with you pedaling your way to smoothies and hummus dips. Always a big hit with the kids.

  • Prizes - an assortment of bike-related prizes will be given away throughout the event.
